Arran Glass is a British composer, songwriter, lyricist and multi-instrumentalist with a background in theatre making and live performance

In 2019 Arran composed the music and wrote the songs for Fly High, a new musical debuting at Singapore Repertory Theatre in February 2020. He has worked extensively with Little Angel Theatre, composing the music for Sleeping Beauty in the Wood and working with children’s authors to adapt The Journey Home by Frann Preston-Gannon, and Me… by Emma Dodd, for the stage.

Arran’s music has been used on television on BBC’s Countryfile and his songs for adverts on ITV and Channel 4.

Other theatre companies Arran has composed for include Eastern Angles, Scratchbuilt Studios, Total Insight Theatre, Small Truth Theatre (Winner of the 2016 family theatre award for The Three Sillies), Bakehouse Factory and Riverside Studios. Arran plays in several bands, most notably Apple of my Eye, the English Folk band who have played on BBC Radio 3 and been heard on Radio 2 and 6 Music. He is a guest Songwriting lecturer at Trinity Laban.

Arran has a BA Hons in Actor-Musicianship from Rose Bruford College and currently lives and works in Bristol.
